Sayeh’s interview with Hello magazine

Galton Flowers is the go-to florist for celebrities such as Sir Elton John and Madonna. For fashion houses including Prada and Salvatore Ferragamo. And for royals, providing flowers for Princess Diana on many occasions.

So what makes this Hampstead florist so popular?

“I think it is the service we provide,” explains partner Sayeh Rafiei. “We are available for our clients whenever they need us. If they want to place an order at 7am before they start their work day, then that is when we take the order. We also work together with our clients to create the perfect pieces for them, no matter how complex the request. We never say ‘no’ or ‘can’t. ”

This attitude has resulted in designing arrangements that range from ultra contemporary and modern, to classic and traditional pieces, and everything in between. No matter what the style, all arrangements have that Galton touch, the quality craftsmanship that goes into every bouquet and arrangement.

“Underneath the arrangement has to be just as beautiful as the top,” says Sayeh. “We have very high standards and attention to detail. The staff at Galton are not only great florists, but they have a good eye. No matter how crazy the design, we always keep to our standard of quality.  Every employee must adhere to two things: attention to detail and quality of service.”

Sayeh came to the UK in 1997, and learned her craft in London. She then went on to study wedding flowers in Paris. With her passion for design mixed with floristry, she quickly became a success and opened her own Galton Flowers store in Brent Cross in 2005. A second branch in Westfield London followed this, and in November 2013 she opened a flagship store in Hampstead. In addition to bouquets and arrangements, Galton Flowers also offers floristry courses, for both enthusiasts and professionals.
